Thing 4, Week 3

This thingo was the easy bit. I enjoyed having a look at what others have created - some of them are very clever and decorative! I've sat down and had a look at what comes next - looking forward to it.

Week 2, thing 3

Fantastic fun as I had not looked at blogs before. I added my first post and created the avatar that best says what I'd like to be doing this holiday - if only. I dived in head first and read the instructions later - one of my bad learning habits but at least I won't forget the experience in a hurry .. I think my first teacher [my mother] must have encouraged learning by hit and miss! My early years of study were certainly fun ... finally being sent to a school was a bit of a shock.

Week 1, thing 1

The program is well set out - a matter of finding uninterrupted time as I don't have the interent avaailable at home [too far from the exchange]. I've discovered plenty of alternative places to work though - the interent cafe, town library & TAFE library when open. I am a happy learner ...

Week 1, thing 2

Most interesting comment - "the internet has become the computer"! This means quite a change is taking place - the manufacturers of computer systems such as Microsoft and Apple no longer control 'the computer' - the users do - indeed they no longer need the computer.
The pointers from the habits of lifelong learners a good reminder of what it is all about.
